“Nadia, The Secret of Blue Water” (39 episodes) is an animated television series broadcast by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) from 1990 to 1991. Then, mysterious giant creatures called “sea beasts” appeared in the world’s oceans, terrifying people. Jean, a boy who loves to invent things, meets a mysterious girl named Nadia at the World’s Fair, where his father has gone missing. Falling in love with Nadia at first sight, Jean sets off on an adventure with Nadia.
As Jean pursues Nadia’s secret, he becomes involved in a great adventure around the world. They confront the evil organization “Neo-Atlantis Empire” and grow through various troubles and solving mysteries. The adventures and destinies that await them make for an exciting work.
