“MAZINGER Z” is a manga and TV animation created by Go Nagai, creator of the masterpieces “Devilman” and “Cutie Honey”. It is also the name of the main robot in the series.
Broadcast from 1972 to 1974, the series became a historical hit in Japan, with the highest viewer rating exceeding 30%, and was also popular overseas in Europe and elsewhere (in Spain it recorded a viewer rating of 70%). The record of 92 TV broadcast episodes has yet to be broken in the history of robot animation.
