“MAZINGER Z” is a manga and TV animation created by Go Nagai, creator of the masterpieces “Devilman” and “Cutie Honey”. It is also the name of the main robot in the series.

Synopsis

“MAZINGER Z” is a milestone in Japanese robot animation. Doctor Hell is a mad scientist who rules an underground empire. Having perfected his army of terrifying mechanical beasts, he declares his intention to take over the world. But there is an obstacle in the way of his ambitions. The great Japanese scientist Dr Kabuto Hakase. He has succeeded in extracting a new form of energy called photon power, and is the only person who knows the secret of Dr Helu’s ambitions and the Machine Beast. Doctor Hell then orders his minions to eliminate Dr Kabuto.
When his grandson Kouji Kabuto, also the protagonist of MAZINGER Z, rushes to the scene, it is already too late and Dr Kabuto is about to die when he is attacked by Doctor Hell’s minions. Dr. Kabuto gathers his last strength and entrusts Kouji with the “MAZINGER Z”, which he has been secretly developing. The “MAZINGER Z” is a giant robot powered by photon power, created to crush Dr. Hell’s ambitions.” Kouji boards the MAZINGER Z and confronts the evil mechanical beasts that attack one after another!
