It is an “other world” comedy featuring a male “uncle” who says he has returned from another world.

Synopsis

His uncle, who was hit by a truck when he was 17 and had been in a coma for the next 17 years, woke up. When his nephew Takafumi visits his hospital room, he sees his uncle mumbling unintelligible words and telling him that he has returned from another world, He mumbles unintelligible words and tells her that he has returned from another world.
‘My uncle has lost his mind.’ Takafumi was devastated at the thought, but his uncle said he would show him proof that he had been in another world and used magic to do so.
Takafumi decides to use her uncle’s power to make money and start sharing a room with him. During her life with her uncle, she hears tales of his adventures in another world and his overflowing love for SEGA. Takafumi is sometimes delighted and sometimes heartbroken by her uncle’s lonely and harsh life. A new kind of otherworldly comedy unfolds in a corner of an apartment block between two men of different generations who work in the video streaming business.

When we think of ‘otherworldly stories’, the setting of going from the real world to another world and surviving in that world comes to mind, but this work is the opposite.
The uncle is “a person who went to another world and came back”. That is why the uncle’s character about the other world is interesting, and the setting is also unique in that the protagonists in the real world poke fun at the events in the other world.
The heroine of the other world, an elf, also makes an appearance. The elf is cute and seems to like her uncle, but he is completely oblivious… The conversation between the elf and the uncle is therefore not very fruitful.
The storyline that progresses with the uncle’s sense of being out of character is also an element that makes this animation work enjoyable.
