“KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC” is a 28-volume fantasy battle manga series serialized in ‘Weekly Shonen Jump’ from 1986 to 1990 by Japanese manga artist Masami Kurumada. It is an animated battle action manga about the goddess Athena and her “saints,” boy warriors who serve her and wear armor called “holy robe,” and battle against other divine powers. The TV anime was broadcast from 1986 to 1989 with a total of 114 episodes.

The saints, led by the “Gold Saint,” whose guardian stars are the twelve constellations of the ecliptic, wear the 88 constellations that shine in the sky as their guardians, and wear protective gear called the holy garments (crosses) that imitate them.

The boy Seiya, who officially became a Saint of Athena by acquiring the holy robe of the “Bronze Saint” after six years of rigorous training in Greece, fights against the evil that pervades this world together with his fellow boys who have undergone similar training around the world to become saints in this fantasy work.

“KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC” stars “saints,” warriors with special powers based on constellations, who fight to protect the goddess Athena.
The game is rich in action scenes, depicting the saints fighting against mythological gods and evil organizations. The battle scenes are speedy and dynamic, drawing viewers in.
