Rosario + Vampire is an anime adaptation of the manga by Akihisa Ikeda and first aired in 2008 with a 13-episode season. Its sequel, Rosario + Vampire CAPU2, also aired in 2008, gaining widespread popularity. The series was produced by GONZO and directed by Takayuki Inagaki. The story begins when Tsukune Aono, a human boy, accidentally enrolls in Yokai Academy, a school for monsters, where he meets a beautiful vampire girl named Moka Akashiya.
