The Three-Eyed One” was created by famous Japanese manga artist Osamu Tezuka. Tezuka is known as the “God of Manga” and has created many masterpieces. This work is one of them, and has one of the most unique themes and worldviews among Tezuka’s works. The animated version was broadcast in Japan in the 1980s under the direction of Rintaro.

The original manga of “The Three-Eyed One” was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 1974 to 1978. Tezuka Osamu’s unique storytelling and mysterious adventures were well received by many readers.

An animated version of “The Three-Eyed One” was broadcast in Japan in 1985 and 1990. The anime consists of 26 episodes and faithfully reproduces Osamu Tezuka’s worldview.
