Tsubasa Chronicle is an anime adaptation of the manga Tsubasa-RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE- by CLAMP, which aired from 2005 to 2006. The series was broadcast on NHK and produced by BEE TRAIN Production Inc., with Itsurou Kawasaki directing. The story follows Syaoran, a young archaeologist, and his childhood friend, Princess Sakura. When Sakura’s memories scatter as feathers across different dimensions, Syaoran sets out on a journey through various worlds to retrieve them. Syaoran, an aspiring archaeologist, and Princess Sakura of Clow Kingdom have been close childhood friends, drawn to each other despite their differences in status. One day, however, Sakura’s memories are scattered across dimensions as “feathers” due to a plot by Fei-Wang Reed, who seeks her hidden powers. To save her, Syaoran turns to the Dimensional Witch, Yuko, who has the power to traverse worlds. Joined by new companions, Kurogane and Fai, Syaoran embarks on a journey to retrieve Sakura’s feathers. To gain the ability to cross dimensions, each must sacrifice their most cherished possession. With the help of Mokona, they navigate through challenging worlds, facing difficult trials and battles along the way.
