The appeal of “The Prince of Tennis” lies not only in its realistic depiction of tennis, but also in the stories of friendship and effort of the characters. The fine details of Japanese animation and the unrealistic super techniques seen during the matches are exquisitely blended to give viewers an overwhelming sense of realism. The characters, such as Ryoma and Kunimitsu Tezuka (Kunimitsu Tezuka), are also fascinatingly unique, and their growth and setbacks add depth to the story.
The storyline and settings are common all over the world, and the characters are all emotionally invested in the story.
